We want to help efficiency in commercial vehicles succeed.

The idea is simple: when real efficiency gains arrive across the entire value chain, the whole industry benefits — the economy, and ultimately our children and grandchildren, who get a more livable planet. That takes three things working together: developing technology, combining it sensibly, deploying it in the right place. Fleetbench is the part that makes sure the technology ends up where it delivers real benefit — even when the numbers have to be run with a sharp pencil.

01 Why Fleetbench exists

Efficiency that pays off — for the industry and the next generation.

Efficiency technology on commercial vehicles can do a lot — but it only helps when it's deployed where it actually makes a difference. And that's exactly where things get stuck: a manufacturer quotes a generic value on a synthetic standard route, and the customer is left wondering what that means for their runs. Fleetbench closes that gap — so good technology doesn't sit in a drawer but makes a difference on the road.

A generic efficiency figure — computed without congestion, without your region's gradient distribution — is a legitimate starting point, but it doesn't answer what tires, aerodynamics and equipment deliver on your real runs. That neutral reference is exactly what we provide. And we think of it as more than a single tool: three things work together — aeco.green develops the technology, AeroAlliance combines it sensibly and accessibly, and Fleetbench makes sure it's deployed where it delivers real benefit.

"Frankly, we're done writing studies that end up in a drawer because nobody can check the math."

That's why we started building Fleetbench in 2023: a web application that computes on our own CFD simulation and — where available — certified component data, yet is usable enough that a fleet manager gets to a verifiable report in a few minutes.

The engineering we bring is not a marketing term: we met at university in 2007 and threw ourselves into commercial-vehicle aerodynamics from day one — in our own companies (airnmotion 2011, Betterflow 2014), with our own driving simulation (CONSEMS, 2017), today at aeco.green GmbH.

02 The founders

Four founders, two skill sets, one shared workbench.

One half has spent 20 years working on the aerodynamics of heavy commercial vehicles; the other has been building digital platforms for more than ten. Together, engineering becomes a tool anyone can use — no investor CEO, no marketing lead, just the people who build the product and stand behind its results.

03 The ecosystem

Three pillars, one goal: efficiency that arrives.

We keep separate what belongs separate: engineering work for individual manufacturers on one side, neutral platforms for the whole industry on the other. That keeps every Fleetbench number independent — no matter whose component happens to score well.

Fleetbench is published today by aeco.green GmbH, Cologne. As a neutral platform it is organizationally separated from the engineering work — so independence is preserved structurally, too. Responsible under the German Telemedia Act and the GDPR; the legal details are in the Impressum.

04 What guides us

Four principles we let ourselves be held to.

Values are cheap when they just hang on the wall. These four are more expensive — they've cost us individual features, roadmap ideas and a few customers. We're keeping them anyway.

01

Methodology before marketing.

When the choice is between a prettier demo and a correct calculation, the calculation wins. Every number on Fleetbench has a source, a data revision, a methodology.

02

Efficiency knowledge should become a given.

Fleetbench is for everyone — from the one-truck operation to the OEM. Our plans are deliberately designed for regular use: the more routinely simulations are run, the more efficiency ends up on the road. Precise knowledge about the benefit of efficiency technology should become a commodity, not remain the privilege of a few.

03

Data in Germany.

Hosted on Hetzner Cloud in Nuremberg + Falkenstein. No tracking pixels, no US analytics. What you compute with us is seen by us — and no one else.

04

When we don't know, we say so.

For many features FleetBench needs meaningful data — on engines or tires, for example. If that data isn't yet available in the necessary quality, the feature doesn't exist either.
